I would have to agree, way better than Rooney's even to have the balls to do it knowing somebody is directly behind you.

I'm with the op. Lucky for him It came off, it could easily have gone wrong. Sort of goal that anyone could have got lucky with. Have seen thousands better, amazing overreaction.

As someone else had said if it had been in the lower leagues it would have been shown once and praised as a good goal but nothing else.

I’m with Bobby on this one. Who couldn’t score with an overhead kick in front of 75,000 people, leaving the England goalkeeper rooted to the spot? As for Ferguson what does he know about football? Best goal ever come back when you have won a trophy mate then we might listen to what you have got to say.
